Position:  Residential Counselor  (On-call; Part Time)

Summary: The Residential Counselor coordinates a variety of activities to provide a safe and nurturing environment for the residents of the Group Home while functioning within a team approach.  Experience preferred. Butte Region: 3 Openings

Position: Behavioral Consultant (BCBA, or MFT/SW)

Summary: The Behavior Consultant (BCBA) will provide services to FNRC families to assist in families receiving consistent behavioral services from Remi Vista, Inc. The Behavior Consultant (BCBA) will initially perform an assessment to determine the needs of the consumer and his/her family. Following the assessment, a treatment plan will be created and a Behavior Intervention Specialist (BIS) will be assigned to work with the family. The BC will supervise the BIS assuring that consistent appropriate services are being provided. The BCBA may also provide counseling services to assist in making consumers’ lives more productive, and contribute to the consumer’s personal development.

Position:  Behavior Intervention Specialist (BA required)

Summary:  The Behavior Intervention Specialist provides Behavior Services to Far Northern Regional Center Consumers in the Assertive Community Treatment Program (ACT) and/or the Community Intergration Program (CIP)

Humboldt Region: 2 Openings

Position: Rehabilitation Specialist (Part Time)

We are looking for motivated, flexible individuals interested in working with children with severe behavioral impairments. The Rehabilitation Specialist will serve as a mentor, coach, and behavioral change agent. We are offering Part-Time positions working with youth, and their families in their homes and community. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in the following: Psychology, Social Work, Child Development, or a related field. OR four years of related work experience. Applicants must be 21 or older with a clean driving record, valid driver’s license, and obtain full use of a vehicle. Position: Personal Attendant (Part-Time)

We are seeking to hire Part-Time Personal Attendants to provide support services by assisting adults with developmental disabilities. They assist the individual in the individual’s home, and out in the community helping with a variety of duties which will enhance the individual’s life and independence. Position: School Counselor

If having a positive influence on an entire school and its students drives your passion, this position may be your perfect fit.  If you have the ability to change behavior in school-aged children affecting the entire classroom, your help is greatly needed.

This is a 10 month position with the possibility of annual renewal with the school and district.

Required Credential / License:

Pupil Personnel Services Credential (preferred but not required)

Master’s Degree in School Counseling,LCSW or Intern, MFT or MFT Intern

 A successful applicant must:

•Work collaboratively with school administration, teaching staff, instructional aides, students, parents and community resources to provide support services to students and their families.

•Consult with teachers, parents, students, principal and other school staff to assist in meetings such as Student Study Team meetings, Multi-Disciplinary Team meetings and Individualized Education Program meetings.

•Provide individual and group counseling to students.

•Deliver evidence-based classroom instruction to students using curriculum such as Second Step, Girls Circle/Boys Council, and other bully prevention curriculums.

•Assist parents and teachers in understanding developmental levels of students, as well as special needs of students.

•Provide advocacy and outreach for at-risk students and their families.

•Provide crisis intervention at school site, working collaboratively with administration and community resources.

•Provide appropriate referrals for additional mental health services as well as pertinent extra-curricular activities for students.

•Collaborate with Agency, School Counseling Supervisor and Team to provide excellent services to contracted schools.
